no hardware encoders found

Mon Feb 01, 2021 12:24 am
i use Bandicam with NVENC codec. Video
But can't use hardware in Kdenlive (in Windows 10)
Should I reported it as a bug? Or the menu "Settings/Wizard" is not for Windows systems?
thank you

Like now there are no "advanced" features working on Windows, the windows version is just a porting, Windows related fixes are mostly "critical" (Kdenlive not starting... Kdenlive crashing... etc etc..)

P.S. not sure these settings works on Linux.

Running in Linux here and it works (where available). At least 2x (or more) faster rendering.

Have had a curious effect in very 1st run: had to perform the HW-config/setup 2x before the HW gets activated...
