Multi camera editing

Tue Feb 02, 2021 10:03 pm
Hello!
New to Kdenlive... I've been playing around quite a bit with it and searched this forum about multi-camera editing. The posts are pre-20.04, when I see there is a new multicamera editing interface.

I have video from 3 different cameras and I'd like to switch between them, but I don't see how to do it using the new multicam editing... Yes, I can see all the tracks at the same time and select each of them... but how do I make just the one I've selected for a period of time be the one that will be part of the render?

I know I can cut and delete the parts of the clips and have only one track showing... but then I don't see the point of the multicam editing...

Thank you!

Bump. I am also interested in how this works. Can't find anything useful in the Wiki manual. Has anyone gotten this to work?

I also wish that multicam was implemented in Kdenlive so that I can move away from Davinci Resolve and Lightworks.
But I´m patient. :)
