Hi, I'm new to video editing, I'm editing my video and once I try to Render it (export to a video mp4), it shows black area around the image, just like this as in the image.

Is there any way I can remove the black lines or make them white?

May be it is due to original image resolution is 1106x684 and the project resolution is 1112x690 but there is no way to change it.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

do not create a project, just open kdnelive .. drop your video on project bin and accept the resolution change (this make the resolution 1106x684)
after that just edit and render the project and the output will be 1106x684
