Need to find gaps and/or spaces between clips. A way to do a final check to see if project is ready for rendering. Some gaps and/or spaces are intentional; so just need to verify those that are intentional versus those that need to be removed (cleaned up). Is there a way of doing this? For single track and multi-track.

No not really. What you can do is jumping with alt+arrow from clip to clip. If you have to press alt+arrow twice between clips it's most probably you have found a space. Tip: disable tracks you don't want to check so you only jump with alt+arrow on the desired track.
