how to reduce pixelization ?

Wed Mar 31, 2021 6:38 pm
Hi.
I'm a beginner. I must convert the clip into a resolution higher than its origin, so that the still pictures I put here and there don't become complete unreadable and low-res.
But it introduces pixelization. How do we reduce it in kdenlive... or any other linux free software ?

Thanks.

What is the target resolution for your video (the final product), what is the resolution of your clips, and what is the resolution of your still pictures?

video 640x480 30fps
An instance of picture: 1700x700, 1,1Mo. Others might be bigger, rarely lower.
project... I used to choose 1080p, as a compromise, between size and quality for pictures, but now I noticed even the video gets worse... ø@öŀï‘ëß !!!
Thanks, if you have ideas of treatments I could apply or whatnot.
