I'm using v20.12.3 on Windows 10.
I've got a sound clip which always shows a non-related wave form in the thumbnail.
It's simply a "ding" of a bell, as shown in Audacity. But in the thumbnails, it shows a totally different wave form, see screenshot:



I've used it in many projects and it's always like this. Luckily, does not affect the rendered video.
Does anyone know why?

this is just a guess, but maybe it's normalized in height? i'm not sure at all though.

Let me know if there's access problem.

This strange appearance of the file also happens when ffmpeg for preview is turned of in the KDEnlive-options. Seems like a nasty bug. Interesting though, what KDEnlive thinks it can make up when displaying audio-files.
