Transition wipe not working when rendering

In the current version of kdenlive, while it looks correct when previewing, there is no transition in the rendered movie.” I use the the "none (resolve) wipe. Is there a way to make it work? I run archlinux, all up to date (kdenlive 21.04.1 and mlt 7.0.1) - or need I file a bug.
