Isn't rotoscoping supposed to apply to whatever is inside a path immediately? It does not work like that currently (latest stable), there is odd delay in som cases.

Rotoscope should work. Try with the AppImge to check if it's a packaging issue.

I agree with the original commenter there are currently issues with rotoscoping (i filled out a bug report for what happened to me)

I'm afraid rotoscoping ins still borken in Kdenlive 21.12.0 and Manjaro. (AppImage 21.12.0 is ok!)
Is this also the case for you?

on my main computer and Manjaro Linux rotoscoping does not work anymore, on an older version it still worked. The AppImage, also 21.12.0, works. On an older computer I have, also Manjaro, rotoscoping works there too. Now I suspect the settings. What are the correct settings, especially for Enviroment, for Kdenlive?

My rotoscoping problem is solved: After deleting (or renaming) ~/.config/kdenliverc, Kdenlive forms a new one and everything runs as it should: Rotoscoping works again. However, I don't know how and what caused the error.
