I cannot get this option to work to save my life. Trying to drag in the ruler area only moves the edit cursor there and nothing else happens.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious or misunderstanding this option. I would assume this option would allow you to zoom in and out on the timeline view by dragging the mouse up/down similar to using Ctrl++/Ctrl+-?
