Why Can't I Drag a Video Clip into a Video Track?

When I drag my video clip (from the "Project Bin") into any video track, I get the message "Not enough audio tracks for all streams (1)". When I add audio tracks to try and fix this, dragging a video clip into a video track results in nothing, strangely enough.
Anyone have a clue?
Thanks, and cheers to y'all. 🍻

You need to add an AV track. They are linked so that when dragging a clip with video and audio kdenlive knows where to put the video (easy enough) and where to put the audio (not so easy because the video and audio needs to stay synced on the timeline).
And make sure there is enough space on both tracks ;-)

Hope this helps

Excuse me for never answering... This is the first time I log in to the KDE forums since then. Indeed this is the right answer, as that's what I had figured out and it worked.
Peace be on you.
