I don't know why this happens, but when I'm editing my selection tool becomes like this, and I don't know how to undo it. This is especially annoying since I can't use the Mix Clips function while it is like this.
I know that this is probably a very newbie question, but why does that happen and how do I undo this? |

sorry i can't understand... on the picture there is only the cursor on timeline (set to maxium zoom) .. if the zoom is the issue.. you can set it on the bottom right of Kdenlive... (zoom level slider)

I'm talking about that "shadow" after the selection tool, I don't know how that always appears while I'm editing and don't know how to undo it. I'd like some help since whenever it is like that, it makes me unable to use the Mix Clips function for some reason. |

That "shadow" represents one single frame of the clip in the timeline. You must have accidentally zoomed in very much. As @bartoloni wrote use the zoom slider or Ctrl+mouse wheel to zoom back out. Hope this helps ...
