EDIT: I recorded the videos in a resolution of 5120x2880. That was the problem. With an import of 5 videos, of course, kdenlive always went to his knees and crashed.

i have a great problem with Kdenlive. I start Kdenlive and about 5 minutes later the RAM is full and the program crashes. I use Kenlive on Ubuntu 20.04.

Has anyone an idea what i can do? When i open "top" to analyze the RAM usage i see that Kdenlive uses about 14 GB of Ram, then more and more and then crash.

I love Kdenlive and use it now about a year without problems. I have uninstalled it, have installed it via snap, via apt get. No changes, 5 minutes on and crash
