make title background transparent

Fri Aug 06, 2021 4:28 pm
Hello,
I'd like to make a title's background transparent in Kdenlive, but I can't find anything.
Anyone knows how to?
Thanks

a title created with the titler tool is always transparent..
if the title is an image (transparent GIF or PNG) you have to apply a "transform effect" on it to add the transparency (in some cases)
and if the background is a static color (BMP JPG TIF) you have to use the "chrome key" to replace this color with the background clip.

Nope.
I have the title clip on V2 and the other video on V1. It's just black.
Looks like it just doesn't manage the clip transparency on windows...
bug?
Anyone having the same problem?

never seen this... are you using the 21.04.3 i think.. you can delete these files:

and reinstall an older version.. for example the 21.04.2 o 21.04 (the .3 release was a little bit bugged on windows)
https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenliv ... 1.04.2.exe

and after that can be usefull to know what is your hardware and OS
