Looks like it is rather pixelated. What resolution is the .PNG (200px?) and what project resolution have you selected? Please note that kdenlive fits all sources to the project resolution, i.e. a 200px (square?) image will be stretched to fit a 1920x1080 project size (~5x in the Y-direction).

it looks like a low quality image .. but "compressed" doesn't seem the right term.... or probably he is using Windows image viewer that automatically add an interpolation filter that "round" corners... and what he see on Kdenlive does'n reflect what he see on Windows (maybe) .. no idea.

the project is 150x200px according to the top bar so it would make sense that it looks pixelated... I'm not sure what OP is looking for

All I have to do is to resize the picture!
