Hello!
Is there a way to change the default text alignment which is to the right, because i never use it stuck to the right side (why is that even the default ??).
Good day

Strange default right aligned, agree. Most editing software left aligns (unless of course you write right to left). There are five icons/buttons that affect text alignment. I can't seem to post an image but here goes with descriptions. Just under 'Rotate XY' in the Titler there are buttons for aligning text/image/box either left/right/vertical/bottom/top. My most used are second from left, horizontal centring, and second from right, vertical centring. 'Align' lower down has three buttons. Left/Centre/Right. Self explanatory. If you add a block of text, hit enter after each line (no word wrap) to space down, then experiment with all five icons/buttons you will see the effects. My biggest quibble is with the size/appearance of the text cursor, on my system it is very difficult to see. Double clicking inside a block of test positions the cursor; but it is hard to find. Hope this helps.

Did a little bug searching and found this link:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413572

So it seems this has been reported a while ago but not acted on. As I said before I agree with you and this bug reporter, that left aligned should be default. Wonder why not? I delved into Kdenlive and right aligned seems to be hard coded into title window. They made such of a good job of the title process but missed this important step (in my opinion).

I asked about it on telegram and yes, it's a bug they haven't fixed yet. It switches to right alignment when we make a text box.
