Project files polluted

Sun Jan 16, 2022 1:00 am
Hi.

I was looking in my kdenlive project files for comparison between them and I figured out some ugly things.

First of all, there are many properties in double. Apparently, for a property named normally, there is its double, beginning with "kdenlive:original.".

Secondly, some fields are full of "carriage return" characters ("
"). I've been able to remove them with find&replace tool, I've just let one of them each time. I think these "carriage return" characters are a bug and it can explain why sometimes I see text fields with an incredible amount of empty lines that wasn't there before.

I also identified some other tags apparently useless in the project files.

For now, removing the double "carriage return" characters have very much accelerated the loading of the file and I think it would be a very good idea to optimize the project file by removing the useless elements, mostly because it begins to be problematic when the project becomes pretty big and it takes many resources to open...
