This should be an easy question, but without the right words to use, I struggle to ask it.

In edit mode, I press the space bar and my video plays. While it is playing, the tracks have a white line that indicates what frames are playing as the tracks remain static and the white line moves from the left to the right. At one point, the line stops moving (on the far right) and the tracks start moving past the stationary white line. This always occurs as the white line is to the far right. When I zoom in or zoom out, that white line recenters itself on the tracks while the video plays or not.

What I want to know: Is there a setting that makes the white line stationary in the center of the whole track line while the track is playing so that the tracks move but the white line doesn't?

I hope this is clear to someone who can answer me. I'd like to make that white line remain in the middle of the tracks at all times. Is there a setting to do this?
