Hi All,

I'm having an issue in saving and selecting a folder for me to save/output my rendered project.

Each time I click on my Render button, I cant seem to choose my preferred folder destination, it keeps defaulting to save my render file to this directory:

/run/user/1000/doc/b87af359/Promo 1.mp4

I'm a Kdenlive newbie, so in this case, do I miss anything?

I'm running Kdenlive from Ubuntu - Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS - 64-bit - Gnome Ver 3.36.8

Thanks A lot!

I think I've met similar problems. I use the newest version of Kdenlive(21.12.1) in my computer. When I chose the directory I want to save my project or my video in, it stopped working. If I saved my project in the default directory, it worked successfully. I use KDE Neon and Windows and the problem only appears in KDE Neon. I've used the old version of the program in Windows for many times before, but I can choose the directory freely.

Looks like a common issue, but I can seem to find a solution for it or I didnt search hard enough :)

Tyson says that we should use the AppImage that installed from kdenlive.org but not from our system's store. I tried using the AppImage and then I can choose the folder freely. You may try using the AppImage from kdenlive.org
