Rendering

Sat Feb 26, 2022 9:20 am
Sadly I seem to be overlooking a setting ... could you please help me find it ....

I can edit a clip and then set it up to render. I click the button to render and all is well. But at the end of the rendering the program closes. If there are other clips in the queue it still closes and the queue is lost.

Where is the setting that stops kdenlive from closing when rendering of a clip is complete?

I think the setting is on the Render Job Queue page itself.

erm ... nope. The setting there is to "Shutdown computer after rendering" and I have that unchecked. The problem I have is that the program closes, the computer stays on.

on last 2 years there was a LOT of fixes in Kdenlive (and also on FFmpeg and MLT) .. (right now i'm using latest nightly build because is a lot more stable that default release for my uses)
if you want to check if the proejct is rendering well without updating PPA please try an updated standalone appimage: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kden ... 4.appimage
