Hi,
does someone know, how to load a projectfile multithreaded for speeding up this? I found 1 core running near 100%, all the other sleeping, disk sleeping (most time) too. Rendering runs very fine on all cores, but not loading... (i7-9700, SSD + nvme)

No, thanks god (and these famous guys here with kdenlive!), now Linux only... Edit: Just tried the nightly build (208), seems really faster, but still 1 thread I think. Disk is more busy, maybe I have to optimize my disk-layout. And, I am not sure, if many threads are helpful if only 1 disk as source... Edit2: Loading time here for 22.04 is 115 sec, Version 22.07.70 (rev. 262872afa) is 100 sec, build before (208) also 100 sec. Always the same project.

Hi,
now I'm back, having a quite larger project (>1300 raw clips, >3000 jpegs, many mp3 etc.), timeline for now >20 min. (expected to be > 1,5h). Loading the project needed > 8 min, if the timeline is up, it still shows around 6000 jobs (thumbnails?) counting down. Needs some more minutes, but this is multi-threaded. Most time only 1 core (of eight) is running, disk 50 - 350 MB/s, sometimes <10. No I/O-wait! My raw footage now resides on a M2-SSD, so a multithreaded loading would greatly speed up the loading. Any ideas to speed this up? P.S. The pre-rendering job is also running single-thread only, no matter if multi-thread selected or not (in render-dialog).
