I just finished a movie shoot and was going to help my editor with doing a few scenes myself. Our principal camera was a Sony creating mxf files in 4k. I can pull it into Kdenlive just fine but can't pull it onto my timeline. I converted it to an MP4 file and had the same problem. With the mxf file I was getting a message that I needed 8 audio tracks. I created all of those and then it just didn't do anything when I pull the clip to the timeline.

I tried creating a proxy and it seemed to generate this error: video parameters incompatible with dnxhd

Can anyone help me get this resolved?

I resolved my issue by converting again to mp4 this time using Handbrake. I believe I used VLC the first time when it failed.
