my timeline disappeared can anyone help???? i can view the project bin and everything else but hte main time line to put in and edit all the vid and audio is blank!!

It's an error? Can you see something?

Try this:
View -> Timeline
Enable the checkbox

If it doesn't solve your problem, post more info... also an image could help us to figure out whats going on.

see this image. the timeline was full of all my stuff but its all hidden and there isnt even a time indicator on top as usual!
i have updated it and tried to reset all the settings but still no help. on other projects it does seem to work with no issues. i cant work it out

It's probably a bug, try to open the project in another kdenlive version.
I hope you have a backup copy because I believe you are going to lose this project.
