Face mush effect

Sat Oct 01, 2022 3:29 pm
Hey guys :)

I'm new to kdenlive and I'd love to ask you, is there a way to create a ''face mush'' effect in kdenlive, where you are able to transform a person's face, for example widen or shorten it?

For example: https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=ht ... egUIARDlAQ

Thank you very much in advance :)

That effect is a bit hard to achieve using kdenlive but you can try a combination of Elastic + Defish + Lens Correction...

Do you mean blurring?

Kdenlive has an effect where one can make a selection in blur blocks which follows that selection by itselfs.
You can hang that on everything you want to blur like faces, but also on say car number plates / name tags / advertisings and such.
I'm at the wrong place now to look up what that name is, but perhaps you can find it yourself now.

And there is a way/trick to export this 'follow' points list, which you can hang on say a black beam over eyes or such so that that beam follows those eyes.
You can find this trick on youtube.

edit: oeps sorry. Didn't open the link earlier so just discovered you don't mean blurring.
