Inaccurate scene detection

Sat Oct 29, 2022 9:15 am
Hi, when inserting a video and subsequent clip jobs, the individual parts are split. The beginning of each scene is OK, but the end of each scene contains several frames of the next scene. So I have to adjust each end manually.
The problem occurs in essentially any version, namely FullHD video. Everything is fine with 4K video (job takes longer to load) 3rd party apps don't have as good results as Kdenlive.
I use 21.11.70 and 22.04.3 The latest version when loading (threshold 99) creates one track. When lowering the threshold to a lower value, the application crashes.

Can Kdenlive (in the future) be set to save individual cut scenes to disc (1:1) without quality loss? Would you choose a few of the approximately 300 saved parts and load them directly into Kdenlive? In this way, work in the program is much faster (with many hundreds of scenes loaded, the program is slow and the RAM is very full).
thank you for answer

you can open an issue here (related to 22.08.3 release) : https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues maybe with some PNG or small video to explain what happens.
