Hi,

On rendering the kdenlive project crashes with:
"[mp3 @ 000001dc99bec540] Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate" I am not sure what is the cause.
[list=]I had tried changing the profile, no change[/list]
[list=]Tried uninstalling and installing but still the same[/list]

Anyone can help me with?

Thanks,
Jenifer

Hi, what version of Kdenlive are you using? and on what OS? ...and also.. there are "deprecated" effects used on the project?

Having this issue as well, I'm on Windows. Happened suddenly with an older build (21.xx.xx, only remember first digits), and same happened after updating to latest stable build. Effects are Box Blur/Position and Zoom/Contrast/Gamma (keyframable)/Saturation/Invert/Bezier Curves. This is all on one 35 second video, in that order. Turning off Position and Zoom allows me to render. Also worth noting I'm zoomed in over 1000%, which could be a factor. I usually get that error log and a failed render, but one time the entire program crashed. Exact error log:

"Rendering of [FILEPATH].mp4 crashed

[mp3 @ 000001734024ff40] Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate [mp3 @ 00000173402fb680] Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate [mp3 @ 0000017340186e00] Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate [mp3 @ 00000173402f4f80] Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate Current Frame: 1, percentage: 0"

Hi, 3 days ago' there was changes to MLT ... you can download a Windows build (just created) here: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kden ... y_mingw64/
i tried with complex projects and i don't have any issue on rendering.

if still crashing, please delete any configuration file viewtopic.php?f=269&t=172868

and maybe share your project (without videos) or a small project that can generate the issue at 100%

Hi all,

I am on Linux (openSuse Tumbleweed) and there was indeed an update to MLT
Glaxnimate as part of MLT is missing
From that moment on the video config wizard is not usable and the worst part is that I cannot render anymore.
Is it to expected that MLT will be repaired upstream in the near future?
