The video for some reason adds time on, going from 50:58:15 to 50:58:35 when selecting the option to go to 60fps after it's added to the timeline. Though I also tried changing the default settings to 60fps normally and it still doesn't it. The video plays normally in ALL video players, but when I add it to kdenlive it does this. The beginning of the video is somewhat sped up for the audio and I can't figure out why this is happening.

Can you give more details about the video, please? Use ffprobe <video.mp4> and then post it here. Also which OS you are on and which version of kdenlive you are using and whether it is the standalone/appimage or installed version.
