I use Kdenlive successfully since many years. Currently from flatpak at version 22.12.1, and in any recent update (within the last days or weeks) the small timeaxis with the triangle cursor and the blue view of the in/out zone disappeared (sorry don't know what it is called).
Also the green audio overlay within the monitor disappeared.
I already deleted the kdenliveui.rc. This had no effect.

flatpak versions of kdenlive seem to have issues lately. Try to install from ppa or snap, or use the appimage

Was unable to install the ppa because I'm on Debian/Bullseye and there are some versioning conflicts.
