Crashes when selecting all clips in clip bin

Hello,

I am trying to piece together a recovered video and I am having issues all over the place.

The first issue was not being able to move/resize in lengths less than 1 second. I think I have found the issue, but this is where the next issue starts.

I cannot convert all the files in kdenlive as it just disappears when I select all the clips in the clip bin, to try and transcode them all into a format kdenlive prefers, as a batch operation.

There's ~620 clips in the reconstruction and I would like it to be as painless as possible.

Any guidance on how kdenlive expects me (the user) to work would be awesome.

Many thanks.

It does it when I select 10 clips, so it's not the amount of clips.

There is no error message displayed before it disappears.

Win? Or Linux?

My experience is that if Kdenlive has to work hard the internal mem will be used at full, and if then has to work even more that it crashes.
Same goes for (big) edits on (big) clips and such, and that in plural form (like starting next big edit while first is still buzy).

My advice. Don't want to much in to short time. Be patience so kdenlive (icw your computer) can keep up. Give it time to fullfill it's jobs.
