I'm using Kdenlive Version 21.07.70.

I use Kdenlive to edit and assemble video clips (2 minutes to ten minutes in length) into one long presentation.

My completed video project is anywhere from one hour to one our and 30 minutes in length.

I use proxy clips and even preview at 270.

I notice that, while editing, as the project grows in length, Kdenlive's interface starts to lag. For instance, there is a lag when grabbing a clip on the timeline and moving it.

I'm wondering what setting would I need to change in order to solve this?

My system has enough memory and I try to avoid using other apps ,browsers ,etc. when editing.

Update to 22.12.3 or wait a few more weeks for 23.04. But definitely update. The version you are using is close to two years old ...
