Hello
I've a issue from my Kdenlive 22.12.3 on my Linux Mint 21?
I start the program and load some Video files into the Video editor then in some cases the Kdenlive stop working and is away (it move away without a sign and it is vanished).
I can start it again and then sometimes it is working for 20min. or longer but then it crashed again. But I don't find a Crash Report and what can happened on my Laptop?

What can I do on my machine? To fix this problem? is there any possible fixes that I can install?
Is the RAM to low or the Mint 21 wrong?

Thank you and Best Regards

OS
6GB RAM for video editing is low, and kdenlive has some memory leak issues (that are being worked on and might be fixed in the upcoming version 23.04).

Check the minimum requirements for kdenlive.

I thought that have something to do with this!
In this machine is only 8GB RAM maybe this program will allocate more for some space and after this allocation the 8GB is overflow.
I've a other machine a PC with a Ryzen7 with a nvme and a 32GBDDR4 RAM and a motherboard X470 this is working very good and what is interest this PC are using during render only 14GB under 16GB RAM.
At the Laptop I only cut my Videos on it and never Render in case of this need on the Laptop Ryzen5 near endless time.
Is it a good idea to buy some more RAM +8GB?

Thank you
