Screencasts - Perl tutorials

Thu Jun 30, 2011 6:04 am
hi,

I have made a few Perl related tutorial and uploaded them to YouTube http://www.youtube.com/gabor529
I also blogged about my setup http://szabgab.com/blog/2011/06/the-making-of-the-perl-screencasts.html
but I am still unsatisfied with the results.

I'd be happy to get some recommendations on how I should change the way I record both videos and how I should render them to make both the fonts and the speaker look better?

One piece of advice is to remove the noise from the audio stream ... kdenlive makes it easy to split the video/audio, export just the audio, use Audacity to do noise removal, and import the audio stream back into kdenlive. That will make it easier to listen to and give it a more professional sound.
