Hi!

I used to use Adobe Premiere Elements to edit my videos, but i recently moved to linux as i built new computer for video working. Kdenlive seems to be quite powerful video editing software, and basicly it had all the features i needed for my working. It had some issues with effects and crashing, but mostly working with it went pretty well. But, this video is entirely made in Kdenlive, and was my first work done with it. Looking forward to start next project.

Nice work! \o/

Which version of Kdenlive were you using and on which distro? Next release will be out in two days hopefully it fixes some of the bugs you encountered.

Cheers and keep it up!

here you'll find instructions on how to install the official ppa for the latest versions... https://kdenlive.org/download/

Ok, thanks! I'll try that.

This version i'm using is installed from the Kubuntu 16.04 software center, and that probably doesn't update automatically to latest version.

You can download latest Kdenlive from our official PPA’s:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install kdenlive
