I've been using KDEnlive for nearly two years now to produce my YouTube channel, Animal Facts. It's the best Open Source editor Icould ask for and more. Love it.

Here's a link to my latest video.

Here's a couple of videos in whiteboard animation I made with Kdenlive :

The whole workflow is done only using only open source software and post-production + editing are entirely made in Kdenlive.

I'm an engineer learning how to draw as a hobby. Recently I've made a 60-second hand-drawn animation. Video editing was in Kdenlive. Cels and backgrounds were drawn using GIMP.

I've written some notes on the process here:

I've used Kdenlive for all my videos on my YouTube channel for almost 2 years now.

So I've edited hundreds of videos with it.

Here are 3D animations and VFX videos I edited with Kdenlive(adding sound, music and final editing, some I even color graded within Kdenlive):

And here's a playlist of videos about an animation project I'm currently working on using only free/open-source software. Editing those videos were done using only Kdenlive. Except for the animatics:

An action video of an Open Water swim that I fully edited with Kdenlive:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQlqkthE7os

Just a family production, no fancy effects. Filmed almost entirely by my 8 and 10 year old daughters!
Now that I have used Kdenlive a couple of times I could edit the video quite quickly, and it works pretty well.

Hi everybody,

Here is a video production made with Kdenlive (Sound take is made with Ardour).
No effects except transition, and fade.
This is a cover of Rolling stones' Wild horses (From sticky fingers). Female singer, guitars (Martin an ES175, cajon and shaker).
Shot with a sony alpha 7 RIII.
