I am the creator and producer of CircumCrippled TV, the first intactivism channel of it's kind and the largest intactivism channel in Europe (352 subscribers, because intactivism is a very new niche).
I just wanted to drop by to empathetically thank you for KDEnlive. Thanks to all the developers who helped building professional-grade video editing software and making it accessible to everyone! The first video on my YouTube channel was edited using OpenShot, a good simple editor, but on my computer, it was buggy, crashy and slow. Also, I needed much more functionality than it could provide. I confess my earliest videos rather look like amateur productions, and KDEnlive 18.04.something on Windows had rendering issues and crashes with some effects, but on Linux, it worked as intended (v18.08.*) with rare crashes (~once per 30 minutes), after which the project always recovered quickly and without data loss. KDEnlive is not perfect (e.g. the “dynamic text” feature is limited yet and does natively not allow counting custom numbers yet), but for a free, open-source, cross-platform software, it is currently second to none. One should not under-estimate what free software is capable of. Same for InkScape. I have discovered the potential of video. KDEnlive certainly currently fullfills my demands, and I don't think I would have needed an expensive Sony Vegas / Magix / Adobe Premiere license to create the same content. KDEnlive opened the door for me to produce outstanding intactivism content. Top 3 best picks:
