I did some cycling videos with Kdenlive (AppImage 20.x, Xubuntu 18.04) of my "Veloviewer Ride Every Tile" rides this year. The latest example:

"Kachel" is the German translation for "tile", but "kacheln" is slang for "to ride fast", too. If you are a cyclist, too, and if you want to know what I'm talking about, feel free to search for Veloviewer, Rideeverytile or Strava.

Instead of changing the speed of the videos (to compress an up to five hours ride to some minutes) I used segments of two or four seconds and skipped the next minute or so. If I knew where to propose a new kind of effect/transformation I would propose this. It's a quite time consuming cutting job to do all this that could easily be done by an algorithm.

Then there are lots of texts wiping in and out, some large photos / screenshots ("Transform" to 90% screen width) while making the background darker. The music was downloaded from the YouTube music library and added with "-3 db", thus one can still hear the original noise from the camera.
