Fault installing live dvd

Tue May 26, 2009 1:01 pm
When installing to hard drive, when the installer gets to install options there is only one

option, 'standard system'. Then when it gets to installing system files it only installs a

couple then goes straight to Grub. The install fire's up but only gets to a command prompt. Type

'startx' and there no such command. It works fine as a live cd. I have down loaded the .iso 3

times and they are all the same. Seems like only the base system is being installed. Are

there supposed to be more install options, I would like to not install open office and blender.
