just made an install on the jaunty beta version using the ubuntu's repository. everything is perfect: capture, video, audio (pulseaudio is finally working) execpt for the frei0r package wich i couldnt get from the repository and maybe because of that the trasition effects are not available. anybody knows what i could do? maybe install frei0r from the repository indicated for the ubuntu inteprid? thanks. great software. congratulations.

You can get frei0r from the debian packages here, just download then remove the line from your sources list. http://kdenlive.org/user-manual/downloading-and-installing-kdenlive/pre-compiled-packages/debian-packages |

Djahjah, if you're using the packages straight from jaunty maybe consider the fix from that thread otherwise export won't work for anything but DV: http://kdenlive.org/forum/can-only-render-dv-did-install-libmlt-dev-and-redid-config I still hope that it's fixed in jaunty before the release but there's little chance by now... |
