Ok here's the deal I was running Linux Mint Debian edition but just switched my desktop to mepis (and loving mepis BTW)...anyway mepis has kdenlive 7.9 but lmde had 8.2
I cant open my 8.2 projects in 7.9......can I convert them /save as a 7.9 format from 8.2 (I still have lmde on my laptop). Or does anyone know of a 8.2 backport to mepis11/debian squeeze?? thanks, mark BTW great job on making kdenlive the best open source video editor :) |

Ok I figured it out....for anyone that wants to know all I had to do was open up the foo.kdenlive file in a text editor and change the version number and type number to the same as my older .kdenlive files...This worked for me but should go with the usual disclaimer that it may not work for more complex projects etc.
