I'm almost there with my svn build for my Ubuntu 8.04 (LTS) box. Ffmpeg, mlt and mlt++ appear to build and install fine using the wizard.
Compilation of kdenlive fails because there is no file "interfaces.h" and I'm supposing this is missing from the repository somehow (because otherwise, it might have been <interfaces.h>?)
...etc. So where does interfaces.h come from? Thanks! Nick/. PS: The sticky link at the top of this forum's broken :) |

the #include "interfaces.h" directive has been added with the latest commit, but the file is not there yet please, try later ;) |

Thanks guys, that seems to work now and the program launches OK! Fantastic work! Guess I was unlucky timing wise when I checked out.
I'd love to hack a few features in, so I'm off to browse the code and see if I can get the lay of the land. Very happy to have a recent kdenlive on my trusty kubuntu 8.04 box. It's a dual AMD 32-bit 1.6GHz machine with 2G of RAM, and barely fast enough with old kdenlives to do much. But I'm looking forward to it being more than just an effective room heater with the latest performance improvements and a little CFLAGS=-march=native magic ;) Nick/. |
