What's "interfaces.h"?

Sat Jan 03, 2009 11:49 pm
I'm almost there with my svn build for my Ubuntu 8.04 (LTS) box. Ffmpeg, mlt and mlt++ appear to build and install fine using the wizard.

Compilation of kdenlive fails because there is no file "interfaces.h" and I'm supposing this is missing from the repository somehow (because otherwise, it might have been <interfaces.h>?)

[ 38%] Building CXX object src/cmake_bindir/CMakeFiles/kdenlive.dir/mainwindow.o
/home/nick/src/kdenlive/src/mainwindow.cpp:87:24: error: interfaces.h: No such file or directory
[ 39%] Building CXX object src/cmake_bindir/CMakeFiles/kdenlive.dir/customruler.o
[ 40%] Building CXX object src/cmake_bindir/CMakeFiles/kdenlive.dir/smallruler.o
/home/nick/src/kdenlive/src/mainwindow.cpp: In member function 'void MainWindow::populateMenus(QObject*)':
/home/nick/src/kdenlive/src/mainwindow.cpp:412: error: 'ClipGenerator' was not declared in this scope
/home/nick/src/kdenlive/src/mainwindow.cpp:412: error: 'iGenerator' was not declared in this scope
/home/nick/src/kdenlive/src/mainwindow.cpp:412: error: 'ClipGenerator' cannot appear in a constant-expression

...etc. So where does interfaces.h come from?

Thanks!

Nick/.

Thanks guys, that seems to work now and the program launches OK! Fantastic work! Guess I was unlucky timing wise when I checked out.

I'd love to hack a few features in, so I'm off to browse the code and see if I can get the lay of the land.

Very happy to have a recent kdenlive on my trusty kubuntu 8.04 box. It's a dual AMD 32-bit 1.6GHz machine with 2G of RAM, and barely fast enough with old kdenlives to do much. But I'm looking forward to it being more than just an effective room heater with the latest performance improvements and a little CFLAGS=-march=native magic ;)
