I'm installing kdenlive 0.7 from svn with the Kdenlive Builder Wizard and while I have everything working right I get an error while compiling kdenlive and it suggests that I install avformat... I already have it installed from the ubuntu 8.10 repositories. I already reported this to the guy who works on the project but I'm just wondering if anyone else can help. I think this is, what I have dubbed, "The Infamous Cmake Error".

To resolve it, please enable the "backports" repository in Synaptic, then do a "sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade" and rebuild using the wizard.
