kdenlive compiled from wizzard was working fine, untill few days ago i recompiled again and now it won't start. "caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV)"

do you have frei0r installed?

i think it started to happen after i installed the libfrei0r-dev package, so i removed it.. but still not working

i removed the frei0r (no the -dev) package and it started working again

There was a bug in early FreiOr releases on water plugin. What is your FreiOr version? Check FreiOr web site. You should have the latest version installed. Bye.

latest version 1.1.22 from baudm repository

compiled frei0r 1.1.22 from scratch... installed.. no crash, but kdenlive doesn't see it at all (no new effects), maybe it's in the wrong path. How do i change the frei0r path at install, or how do i tell kdenlive where frei0r module is.... or where sould it actually be?
