Hello,
I have installed libqimageblitz-dev on Ubuntu Maverick as it was told on revision 5030 but compilation doesn't work. I have this message : Linking CXX executable kdenlive CMakeFiles/kdenlive.dir/stopmotion/stopmotion.o: In function `StopmotionWidget::slotUpdateOverlay()': /home/pascal/Bureau/kdenlive/src/stopmotion/stopmotion.cpp:340: undefined reference to `Blitz::threshold(QImage&, unsigned char, Blitz::RGBChannel, unsigned int, unsigned int)' /home/pascal/Bureau/kdenlive/src/stopmotion/stopmotion.cpp:337: undefined reference to `Blitz::invert(QImage&, QImage::InvertMode)' /home/pascal/Bureau/kdenlive/src/stopmotion/stopmotion.cpp:334: undefined reference to `Blitz::intensity(QImage&, float)' /home/pascal/Bureau/kdenlive/src/stopmotion/stopmotion.cpp:331: undefined reference to `Blitz::edge(QImage&)' /home/pascal/Bureau/kdenlive/src/stopmotion/stopmotion.cpp:328: undefined reference to `Blitz::contrast(QImage&, bool, int)' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [src/cmake_bindir/kdenlive] Erreur 1 make[1]: *** [src/cmake_bindir/CMakeFiles/kdenlive.dir/all] Erreur 2 make: *** [all] Erreur 2 I use Qt-Version 4.7.0, KDE 4.5 Any ideas ? I have uninstall libqimageblitz-dev and compilation works again. I think that this package is not necessary for me because I dont'have HDMI port on my camcorder.

I just committed a fix for QImageBlitz detection, it should work now. QImageBlitz is used in the stopmotion utility, that now supports HDMI and v4l (webcam) capture.

HDMI capture sounds good.
What hardware is needed for this (PC side)? |

HDMI capture in Kdenlive is possible with BlackMagic Design hardware (Intensity Pro or DeckLink):
