Hi,

I am trying to install Kdenlive from sources on my new macbook pro (10.6.6), and after 3 days, here I am.
I rode many topics of the forum, and found some answers in
-Feedback about Kdenlive for Mac OS X
(http://www.kdenlive.org/forum/feedback-about-kdenlive-mac-os-x?page=2)
-Installation Issues: MacOSX 10.6.4, MacPro, MacPorts install from source - kdenlive 0.7.8
(http://kdenlive.org/forum/installation-issues-macosx-1064-macpro-macports-install-source-kdenlive-078#comment-12063)
but I don't understand in codesand my english is not that good... perhaps I just missed the solution

/sudo port -v install kdenlive

First, macports is tough. Do not feel sorry for yourself if you struggle with it. Atlas is not a part of Kdenlive, but a dependency. So, we do not know much about it. We maintain the mlt, frei0r, and kdenlive ports. When you have a problem with a dependency the best thing to try is to search the macports tickets to see if there is a similar problem report:
