I wonder how i can update to the newest kdenlive version on linux Mint (debian) with kernel 3.11-2-amd64 I searched the repos and couldnt find the new version, tried to compile but failed like i m not very experienced in compiling... is there a working .deb i can download somewhere? Thanks! O love kdenlive and use it for video editing for years and looking forward to the update!! |

moved to Kdenlive Installation forum - think it's a bit more appropriate (especially if compile is required)

I think this Personal Package Archive might work on debian.

A look at http://packages.qa.debian.org/k/kdenlive.html tells me that "[2014-05-20] kdenlive 0.9.8-1 MIGRATED to testing (Britney)".
Which implies that the 0.9.8 packages are somewhere in the debian repository. You might have to do some research to figure out how to get to the "testing" repository. |

Hmm. Are you sure it was kxstudio that gave it to you ? http://kxstudio.sourceforge.net/Reposit ... plications does not mention kdenlive. Not that that necessarily means they do not have it. If they do provide it maybe you should write to them and get them to put it on their doco page.
