About creating animated template/subtitle

Hi all,

Ubuntu 14.04 desktop 64bit
=======================

I'm a beginner in Video editing. I'm prepared intalling kdenlive. Please advise do I need adding "blender"? If YES, please advise HOW?

If NO, please advise can I create animated template/subtitle on kdenlive? and HOW?

You do not need blender to work with kdenlive - blender has not even a link to kdenlive and vice versa.

If you want to create animated titles/graphics in kdenlive you can either work with title clips or other graphic files and animate them by using Affine or Composite transitions or Pan, Scan, Zoom effect or a combination of one transition and one or more effects.

Disregarding the error kdenlive installation was completed and it can be started. Where can I find "Affine or Composite transitions or Pan, Scan, Zoom effect ....."? Where can I find manaul/instruction to run kdenlive?
