Hello

I'm looking forward installing Kdenlive on OS X.
But I also could install Linux on a virtual machine on my mac and install the linux version of Kdenlive.

Can someone tell me what will work best? Does the OS X version have disadvantages to the Linux version?

Thanks
Bob

The install process of the OSX version is much harder and might not work. It will be much easier to install in a virtual linux box.
However, I have not had experience trying to do video editing inside a virutal machine. Video editing being resource intensive I dunno how that would go.
You could try and report back.

i was running openshot in a virtualbox that was running anterago. giving the VM 2 cores and 4GB of RAM seemed fine to me performance wise but i was only working with 720p flv files
