Just today installed Kdenlive and all my buttons and icons are missing.
Could this be repaired by installing another theme? How to do that? I need a dark one. Any other solutions? Here is the picture |

I installed it via software center.
How do I test another skin/theme? It shows only default in list. EDIT: Never mind, installed:
and buttons are back. Also did this to get the themes:.

I am having the same problem. I installed from my software manager. Please help. I am very new to my Linux Mint 17.1 OS so I will need detailed instructions of how to fix this.
Thank you |

To open terminal, press Ctrl + Alt + T (or select it through menus)
Then copy/paste this in to the terminal and press enter (it will ask for your password):
That should do it, now just restart Kdenlive If you want additional themes (skins) copy/paste this and hit enter:
It should work now. If not, I can not help. |

you can just use
sudo apt-get install breeze-icon-theme it's a much smaller package without unnecessary bits. |
