Hi,
I suppose I'm not the first with this problem, but I cannot find a fix...
I've a kdenlive on Ubuntu 14.04 LTE 64bits, running Unity GUI enviroment.
I'd like to switch to a dark theme for kdenlive because my eyes are crying... ;)
When I switch to a dark theme, all becomes dark except some menus, that remain light grey with white labels on top (unreadable).
I've installed KDE "systemconfig" package and QT4 confugrator "qt4-qtconfig" package from Ubuntu Software Center.
This fixed the issue for some users but not for me. In the example here below, you can see the "Obsidian Coast" theme applied, but this happens with all themes.
I tried both the kdenlive repo version (0.9.6) and the ppa version (0.9.10).
Thank you in advance!

I noticed this when I tried to run it under any desktop manager except plasma. Try installing plasma-desktop and choose it as your dm when you log in.

Not a fix, I know, but a workaround at least.

EDIT: Nevermind. The issue is present on plasma as well. :'(
