You'll need to run Kdenlive from gdb in order to get a stack backtrace. This may shed more light on your issue.

Thank you for posting the stack traces! What makes we wonder: Kdenlive seems to crash in different places, each run differently?

My step
1) gdb kdenlive 2) (gdb) run 3) in kdenlive open recent > my video in MOV format with 2 titles. Any titles have a simple animation and a blur filter at the end 4) start play the movie ant kdenlive krask ERROR REPORT

By "2 titles" do you refer to title clips made in Kdenlive?
If yes, do you have set the number of Kdenlive MLT threads (not number of render threads) to something higher than 1? If also yes, can you try with number of MLT threads set to 1? If not, I remember having read here in the Kdenlive forum that there are occasional crashes when using Kdenlive's/MLT's built-in titling. So far, this bug has escaped all attempts at fixing it. So, you may want to try the work-around route: you can quickly and easily create your titles in Inkscape: for instance, for a 16:9 FullHD project simply set the document dimensions to be 1920×1080 pixels. Then add your text and optional graphics. Finally save as Inkscape .svg. Then add these titles to your project instead of the Kdenlive-made title clips. Save. Play project to see if it still crashes. Personally, I've moved completely away from Kdenlive's titles and am solely using Inkscape for titling. |
