not sure if this is a bug , and maybe there s a workaround?
but: I cant drag effects from the properties window onto the timeline anymore, it would just do nothing... any suggestion? anyone else experiencing this? thank you

Kdenlive version???

Recent Kdenlive 15.13 git master works as expected, can drag effects from properties onto another clip in the timeline, as well as into a track itself. Also works for dragging effect from effect list onto track, etc.

oops sorry: Version 15.12.1 ! thats the latest i could find on arch/manjaro, I ll try to upgrade asap. Thank you!!

it s working ,notsure exactly why, but
installing kdeicons-kfaenza and uninstalling all the plasma stuff did the trick..
